Cracking the code of croissants!

Hey guys! I know it's  been a loooong time since I posted. But I've been busy, okay?  Busy baking! Today, I'm gonna show you guys how to make croissants! It's really easy, but you have to be really patient! Okay, let's get started then!:

Ingredients:

1. 3/4 cups of warm milk

2. 2tbsp sugar

3.  2tsp yeast

4.  1/4 cups of oil

5. 1/2 tsp salt

6. 2 1/2 cups of flour

7. melted butter (approximately, 3tbsp)

Instructions:

1. Add the milk, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Mix well, place a cloth on top of the bowl and let it rest for 10 mins.

2. Add the oil, salt and flour in the bowl. Kneed until it forms a dough. Shape the dough into a ball, brush some oil on top, cover it and let it rest in a warm place for an hour.

3. After an hour, the dough should have almost doubled in size. Punch all the air out of the dough and kneed for a minute or 2.

4. Cut the dough into equal portions, and roll it into thin sheets, using a rolling pin.

5. Place a sheet on a floured surface, and brush some melted butter . Place another sheet on top of the buttered one. Repeat this process until all the sheets are over. Do NOT brush butter on the last sheet.

6.  Using a rolling pin, flatten out the pile of sheets into one big one. This should look like a pizza without any toppings, sauce or cheese.

7. Cut the pizza, I mean the big sheet, into 12 slices, I mean triangles.

8. Cut a slit on the base of the triangle, and roll it up like a croissant. Place them on a tray and proof for 15 mins.

9. Meanwhile,  preheat the oven at 180°C for 15 mins. Once the croissants are done proofing, brush some milk on top of them.

10. Bake the croissants at 180°C for 17 mins. Then enjoy warm!

Okay! I've tried SO many croissant recipes. This is the only one that turned out perfect!! Well if you guys enjoyed making those, follow my blog for more! So I will see you guys next time! Byee!!!
