Black & White Are Just So Right! 🦓

Black & White Are Just So Right!, Black & White Are Just So Right!, Black & White Are Just So Right! huh, that rhymes, hehe. Oh, Hey Guys 👋 Today we are talking about... ZEBRAS!.. so, basic info about zebras, they're black and white (striped). Here is some more info:

Zebras are African equines with distinctive black-and-white striped coats. There are three living species: the Grévy's zebra, plains zebra, and the mountain zebra. Zebras share the genus Equus with horses and asses, the three groups being the only living members of the family Equidae. The golden zebra is very rare, it is mentioned below. Where do plains zebras live? They have a wide range in east and southern Africa. They usually live in treeless grasslands and savanna woodlands and are absent from deserts, rainforests, and wetlands. Populations of Grevy's zebra live in Ethiopia and northern Kenya, with a small introduced population in southern Kenya. Fewer than 100 remain in Ethiopia and fewer than 2,400 in Kenya. Grevy's zebra have been extirpated from Eritrea, Djibouti and SomaliaThe Grevy's zebra is considered endangered on the Red List of Threatened Species, as the population has gone down by about 54 percent over the past three decades, according to the African Wildlife Foundation. Zebras mostly live in and around the African Savannah and their natural habitat has been mostly preserved.

The golden-coloured zebra likely has partial albinism, a condition very rarely seen in zebras, confirm several scientists. There have only been reports of two other Golden Zebras in captivity. The first was in Germany approximately 100 years ago! The second was in a zoo in Tokyo in the 1970's. Zoe is the only Golden Zebra known to exist in captivity today. Hawaii's golden zebra Zoe has died at the age of 19 at the Three Ring Ranch Exotic Animal Sanctuary on the Big Island. Zoe was born on Molokai to a mare named Oreo. ... There are about 24 other golden zebra are living in a private park in South Africa.”

Almost 90% of a zebra's diet is made up of grass. They also eat leaves and twigs, and some zebras eat herbs and shrubs, especially at times when grass is scarce. Zebras need a lot of water. They've been known to drink up to a gallon of water at one time!

Woha! this is the 2nd biggest post I have written ever! there might (very little chance) be a part 2, try not to expect it, Oh and take a look at the picture. well, see you tomorrow! Byee!
